Cloud Sales Specialist

The primary role is to create and close new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to selling, this person will use their expertise to identify and qualify leads, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers. The executive is expected to work on new business proposals and presentations which are a persuasive representation of an organisations products/services.
    
Responsibilities
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the Cloud and IT services industry
  • Sell cloud services to be more specific CDN, Media and WAF.
  • Researching and identifying business opportunities & generating leads
  • Acquire new customers, upsell and cross sell in existing customer base
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales presentations and proposals to prospects.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive dashboard to monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on sales and marketing metrics.
  • Work across territory to create demand for defined cloud offerings
  • Develop long-term strategic relationships with key customers.
  • Managing all prospects and opportunities within CRM system
  • Identify and properly qualify Cloud opportunities
  • Travel may be required
    
Skills
  • Deep understanding of the company's organisation & operations, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives, structure and business model.
  • Must have strong business acumen to spearhead the sales and business development function.
  • Should be proficient in initiating / carrying forward sales and technical discussions, leading online meetings regarding cloud solutions.
  • Self-motivated and driven to plan and execute sales generation.
  • Should be a sound team player and an effective individual contributor at the same time.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
    
Experience
  • Completed Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
  • Completed MBA
